Welcome to the 2015-2016 bowling season!  The Arbor Valley USBC Association is here to make your bowling experience as enjoyable as possible.  Throughout each season, we organize and run tournaments for bowlers of all ages and skill levels.  We highly recommend that you participate in one, if you haven't already done so.  You may find yourself being crowned champion.  In addition to hosting tournaments, it is also the responsibility of the association to process memberships, distribute bowler awards, certify bowling lanes, publish the annual yearbook of averages and enforce USBC rules.

  • Director of the Year

    Roger Crawford

    Director of the Year

Each year the association recognizes a board member who goes the extra mile in service to the association and its bowlers. Roger is and has been for several years the chairman of the tournament committee. His responsibilities include staffing the tournament with check-in people, lane monitors, bracket, 50/50 drawing and jackpot staffing. He keeps the tournament functioning properly and on time. He was also the nominating committee chairman and is responsible for the election of board officers and directors at the annual membership meeting. Thank you Roger for your service to the members of the Arbor Valley USBC Association.

  • Secretary of the Year

    Daniel Leonard

    Secretary of the Year

Dan is the league secretary of the Ann Arbor Service Clubs (AASC) league at Colonial Lanes and of the Sunday Nite Leftovers mixed league at Chelsea Lanes. The AASC league is the largest league in the association with thirty (30) teams. He is very detail oriented and is always making sure that things are done correctly and on time. Dan asks a lot of good questions and is continually learning about the secretary duties and how to accomplish them in an efficient and proper manner.  With a league that large there are many awards and many new bowlers coming into the league during the season. Dan makes sure that all of the bowlers are certified. He routinely asks for an excel roster file of his bowlers that he checks against his records. We can expect an awards file to be emailed to the association office within days of the league session.

We thank Dan for his service to the bowlers in the Ann Arbor Service Club and Sunday Nite Leftovers leagues and to the Arbor Valley USBC Association.
